Job fairs are becoming a common means of entry level recruiting. For the corporate recruiter, they offer an opportunity to reach interviewing terminal velocity. The highest possible number of prospects in the shortest possible amount of time. For many students, job fairs provide a “freebie” opportunity to meet with hiring employers.
I attended rozee job fair on Sunday, March 18th 2007 at Expo Center Fortress Stadium Lahore. I saw lot of my friends in the event, looking good in suits.
Although Job Fair 2006 was excellent but this time it was much bigger and very successfull. Lot of multinational companies and famous brands were invited in the fair. All the Telecom companies except Waridtel were there to hunt the talent.
I beleive on “Be +ve and Think +ve”, so here are some plus points in job fair 2007.
- Companies got quality CVs from job seekers
- Companies conducted onsite interviews
- More females attended job fair than 2006
- Special people were also there
- Lot of parents were also there with their daughters & sons
- Training seminars were excellent
