Selecting the best framework for AJAX
Today a task was assigned to me about selecting the best framework available for AJAX, so I decided to Google it and found an interesting and very good article on AJAX framework selection by Andrew Turner and Chao Wang. Here’s the link. I am convinced to use the YUI.

We are also using prototype and scriptaculous. Both the libraries are excellent and fulfilling our needs. we didn’t use the YUI in our upcoming project because YUI generates lot of code which ultimately slows down the website.

Even though i still prefer using prototype over YUI but the Drag n Drop library of YUI is amazing. I have used it in many places and have been very beneficial plus time saving.
