Benazir Bhutto killed in Rawalpindi suicide bomb blast
Pakistani former Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto passed away (Inna Lilla he Wa Inna Elehay Rajioon). I am terribly hurt and shocked by this news.
The explosion occurred close to an entrance gate of the park in Rawalpindi where Ms Bhutto had been speaking. PPP spokesman Farhatullah Babar initially said that Ms Bhutto was safe. But later he told the BBC that Ms Bhutto had died.
Another member of the PPP, Wasif Ali Khan, told the Associated Press news agency from the Rawalpindi General Hospital: “At 6:16 pm (1316 GMT) she expired.”
MSNBC: “Bhutto’s supporters at the hospital began chanting “Dog, Musharraf, dog…” Some of them smashed the glass door at the main entrance of the emergency unit, others burst into tears.”
Reuters: “Police said a suicide bomber fired shots at Bhutto as she was leaving the rally venue in a park before blowing himself up. ‘The man first fired at Bhutto’s vehicle. She ducked and then he blew himself up,’ said police officer Mohammad Shahid.”
CNN: Media reports quote her husband saying she suffered a bullet wound to the neck in the attack.
Sky News: The country’s upcoming January elections would “most likely be postponed or cancelled” because of the attack.
Bloomberg: Earlier, at least four supporters of Pakistan’s former premier Nawaz Sharif were killed and another 12 wounded in the capital, Islamabad, when gunshots were fired on an election rally (Bloomberg)

Benazeer Bhutto was a great leader and politician who wanted to brought back the true Democracy in Pakistan.She had aim to make all the Pakistanies happy and all people could live at prosperity level. NO doubt she is not in among us but she still lives in every pakistani's heart and always live with her image.

She was only interested in power and nothing else. She started talks with Musharraf at the behest of USA at a time when all her supporters wanted her to come home and overthrow him. She blackmailed Pakistani establishment with the help of USA and not her people. She spoke USA’s language too when she talked about A.Q Khan and allowing U.S troops into Pakistan. She is responsible for her own death.

I dont think it will be a good idea to have US troops in Pakistan. We have already seen what has come of two other Muslim countries who have the unfortunate chance to have them in their homelands. Secondly, eventhough Bhutto is assasinated this does not mean people should go wild and destroy the property of locals. believe or not but the 21 industries have been burned and lot many people killed!
Why didn’t Pakistan let US troops go into their country to hunt down terrorists?

Benazir Bhutto was a legendary leader of Pakistan, she was the only leader who was truthfully fighting and struggling for restoration of democracy in Pakistan.She wanted to redress the wounds of poors of the nation and in the nobel struggle she has been murtyred by the mostinhuman cruel act of terrorism. I am deeply shocked and grief is beyond expression through words, she has left all the nation specially Sindhi aggrieved and breaved.
May Allah rest her soul in peace and heavens.Ameen.
