Mozilla Started Live Chat Support

January 1, 2008 – 10:50 pm | by Shafiq Rehman

live chatMy Favorite internet browser Mozilla Firefox started live chat to its customer support page with a little cute foxy logo.

Live Chat provides real time text support right in your browser. If Foxkeh says we’re open, click on him to begin a one on one chat with one of our volunteers.

Initially it is staffed by the volunteer and chat is available for few hours only, but its a great step towards the customer support by open source software companies. Mozilla team has started this service in beta phase, if it goes well Mozilla will expand it in the future.

You can also become the volunteer if you think you can help others by providing them live support.
