City Of Fiber Optics Changed Its Name From Topeka To Google, Kansas

Topeka is a small City. The small city with a big  dream changed its name from Topeka to Google to show its enthusiasm for Google’s Experimental Fiber For Communities Program.  Kansas is  the Capital City of Fiber Optics . Its population is just 122,642.

Mayor William W. Bunten issued a press release  on Monday declaring the name change and requesting  “the citizens of Topeka to recognize and support the continuing efforts to bring Google’s ‘Fiber for Communities,’ experiment to our city.”
