Its a big news that Twitter hits 10 billion Tweets . In fact its a big number. The mega micro blogging site Twitter hit 10 billion tweets. It is said that it  gets  about 50 million tweets a day and so hitting 10 billion in just a few months from the previous 5 billion tweets mark wasn’t as surprising.
