Microsoft Launches Internet Explorer 9 aka Chakra Developer Preview

In a 3 day MIX10 conference for web designers and developers which was held on March 15-17th, 2010 in Las Vegas Steven Sinofsky the  President for Windows Division has launched Internet Explorer 9 Platform Preview build. Microsoft has made an admirable achievement that they added a new engine in IE9 which they call “Chakra”. Along with it they include several standards for example HTML5, DOM, CSS3 and many others are part of  it.

Microsoft has developed the IE9 platform preview only for developers but it does not support user interface and could not be used for a all users. A beta version  for IE9 will be released  soon. IE9 is the the first browser which provide hardware-accelerated SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) support.
