You can  perform  Windows 7 compatibility test with different kinds of  applications. There are different methods to adopt the test  such as  by installing new Windows OS on a separate system, refer to Microsoft’s Windows 7 Compatibility Center or by consulting to the Windows 7 Application Compatibility list.

Few days ago Microsoft provided the Windows 7 Application Compatibility list for IT professionals in the form of Excel spreadsheet which contains the software list and the related information about the Windows 7 compatibility application which can be verified by the developer companies or by the Windows 7 Logo Program testing requirements.
