Almost four years ago Twitter co-founder Jack Dorsey sent his first Tweet along with Evan Williams and Biz Stone, they started a phenomenon. In February, 2010 Twitter hit 50 million Tweets per day that’s a great achievement and last summer it was declared that “Twitter” would enter the Collins English Dictionary

A big news for social networking lovers, According to the New York Times Bits blog, Facebook will officially declare geolocation features at its annual f8 developers conference in late April. According to Bits, Facebook will not only allow users to append location information to their status updates but also provide a set of APIs so that developers can allow location information to be shared with the social networking platforms. Its a big news that Twitter hits 10 billion Tweets . In fact its a big number. The mega micro blogging site Twitter hit 10 billion tweets.
